CHRISTINE ROY, MS, PT

Physical Therapist

Christine Roy received her PT from Springfield College. She has spent her career creating a very individualized approach for the patients she works with and enjoys helping people achieve their goals. Her focus is on assisting people address their biomechanical issues to improve them to help decrease pain and improve their function and performance.  


Christine believes each person and each problem is unique and tailors her intervention to fit the individual.  She is skilled in diverse interventions, such as:  McKenzie, Maitland, Mulligan, Kinesiotape, Functional Running, manual therapy, and corrective therapeutic exercise.  

Christine works with all orthopedic and sports medicine problems but has a very special focus and interest on runners of all abilities.  As an avid runner herself, she understands the runner’s mindset. She has had extensive training over the years in assessing runners and guiding them back from injury in a way that also works on decreasing continued risks of injury that allows them in turn to prevent further injuries. Christine performs running video analyses and is able to provide current recommendations based on a person’s gait.

Christine listens intently to all comments and incorporates what each person says when developing a comprehensive program for them. She believes strongly in staying up to date with current evidenced based information and therefore has continued to work annually on advancing her knowledge as a clinician through continued education opportunities and self direction.
